I am now assuming that if Home Designer Pro 9 (which is over of my price budget) can open the plans, so can Home Designer Suite. However, all I had to do is open them in 4.0, save them and re-copy to the new PC and they will open now also. You cannot save files in the trial version but if you can read and edit the files, I assume the rest should not be a problem.īTW, I had some old plans from an even earlier version dating back before 1998 that could not be read by release 9.
